Try to apply a new global theme without pressing "apply", and you will see that when the window is getting darker because of the new window, you can see the separation and the button is misaligned from its space at the bottom.It's not really that important with the default breeze theme but when you have a custom theme with different colors, the button is misaligned and is too high (see the precedent screenshot) I took a screenshot attached to this mail to show you the issue on breeze.I think that the best solution could be to add some space above the button to have the same size as the space for the button "Show the modified settings" and center the button in it.
