Summary: Plasma NetworkManager doesn't apply IPv6 configuration
to OpenVPN
Classification: Plasma
Product: plasma-nm
Version: 5.26.3
Platform: Archlinux

Screenshot of the IPv6 tab
Plasma NetworkManager doesn't apply IPv6 configuration to imported OpenVPN
configuration.
Upon importing a VPN configuration with its configuration file, and going on
the VPN connection menu to configure it, setting IPv6 method to "Disabled" on
the IPv6 tab doesn't disable IPv6 on connecting to the VPN, as the address is
still active and can still issue IPv6 connections.
The "master" NetworkManager connection has both IPv4 and IPv6 connection
methods set to "Automatic".
STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Import OpenVPN configuration file
2. Disable IPv6 by setting the IPv6 connection method to "Disabled"
3. Connect to the VPN
OBSERVED RESULT
IPv6 address is still active and can make connections (with curl -6
https://example.com for example).
EXPECTED RESULT
IPv6 is disabled for the lifetime of the VPN connection, being re-enabled when
the VPN is disconnected.
