Under Windows, the metadata may not have been read in correctly. The cause is unknown until now and also cannot be reproduced. We suspect that the images were blocked by other Windows programs during the import (Explorer, Virus scanner, etc.). We hope that digiKam-8.0.0 fixes the problem with changes to the import process.
