            Bug ID: 464442
Summary: Reload in filesystem panel does not work for sftp
                    locations
    Classification: Applications
           Product: kate
           Version: 22.12.1
          Platform: Other
                OS: Linux
            Status: REPORTED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general
          Assignee: kwrite-bugs-n...@kde.org
          Reporter: benjamin-h...@t-online.de
  Target Milestone: ---

SUMMARY
I often use kate to work on projects on a remote server, with the filesystem
panel on the left. However, when I create e.g., a new folder in the terminal,
and do reload in kate via the context menu, it does not show up.

I found two workarounds, but they are not very nice:
- Restarting kate
- creating a folder inside kate via context menu does update filesystem panel
correctely afterwards

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. open a remote sftp location in kate filesystem panel
2. ssh to the location in a terminal, and create a directory somewhere
3. click contextmenu -> reload in the filesystem panel

OBSERVED RESULT
filesystem panel does not show new directory

EXPECTED RESULT
filesystem panel does show new directory
