I can confirm, currently nightly appimage doesn't work for me on Ubuntu 22.04
with KDE Xorg session.
This is what I get when trying to run 61fed53ae4:

The X11 connection broke: No error (code 0)
X connection to :0 broken (explicit kill or server shutdown).
