I face this problem in Fedora 36 one a Lenovo laptop (the 3rd I use and I have this problem) and on my openSUSE Tumbleweed (plasma 5.26.5) with an MS Natural keyboard. As a note: I experience this issue since KDE 4. I would definitely like to help because it affects my productivity enormously.
