The underlying issue is broader than just that one use case. Some of the
duplicated bugs provide examples:
- Bug 441556: Autostarted KTorrent fails to start seeding torrents located on
an automounted disk because the disk automounts after KTorrent launches
- Bug 453518: Plasma wallpaper resets to default when user-chosen wallpaper
lives on an automounted disk because the disk automounts after Plasma launches
- Bug 460503: Discover Notifier crashes on boot when checking for updates to
Flatpak apps that were installed to an automounted disk because the disk
automounts after Discover Notifier launches
