But we only did this for American English! We need to do it for the other Englishes as well, like British English and Australian English. Because the same thing happens there too, if your language list ends up looking like en_GB:de_DE. This is invalid, but the user won't know unless we tell them. If this still isn't enough, we might want to reconsider https://invent.kde.org/plasma/plasma-workspace/-/merge_requests/1087 and always internally insert "C" after the last en_* language in the list. There was discussion in there about maaaaybe having to do it anyway but hopefully a warning message is enough.
