Today I tried to do a git bisect for kscreen and libkscreen and luckily found the culprit. This is a libkscreen commit https://invent.kde.org/plasma/libkscreen/-/commit/18b8f22c0f31c05d067f8231bce54153808fed6f which first appeared in v5.25.90.
