This keeps happening to me.. after some desktop modification (rearrange icons,
resize o move some widget, etc) after restart (relogin) sometimes (30% of the
time aprox) the desktops and activities are all missconfigurated. I have to
keep a backup of the plasma-org.kde.plasma.desktop-appletsrc file to replace
the corrupt one and reboot (relogin) again.
