Currently, as a workaround, I manually edit the [Tiling] part of the
~/.config/kwinrc file.

I manually created a json with my tiling preferences and saved it to another
file. Every time I lose my tiling (for example, if I disconnect my monitor), I
rewrite the kwinrc file with the string I saved to my backup file, log out and
log back in.

It's not ideal, but it's the best way I found, for now.
