For example, if I am working with three collections whose actual physical folders may be scattered all over, but I want them grouped right side-by-side while I am working with them, I can give all three folders a letter "A" or a letter "Z" as the first character of their virtual name and they will display together while I work with them. When I get the work finished, I can then remove that extra letter and the collections return to their original place in the list.
