See https://community.kde.org/Guidelines_and_HOWTOs/Debugging/How_to_create_useful_crash_reports *** STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. install digiKam 8.0 on Windows 11 (upgraded from 7.10 in my case) 2. start digiKam 3. wait for the initial small window to scan from 0% until... it crashes. The splash screen came up a few times but it doesn't anymore.
