This is a known limitation of X11 that all screen shot apps face. Even Windows
has this problem. It appears to be fixed on Wayland. There's not really
anything that can be done about this on our end. The way to work around this is
to set up a capture delay, start the capture, open the menu and then wait for
the capture to happen.
