STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. kcmshell5 kcm_sddm
2. Modify preferences and try to save them, per https://imgur.com/nPH2SMX
OBSERVED RESULT
They don't save, per https://imgur.com/nPH2SMX
EXPECTED RESULT
The preferences should save.
