You are talking about baloo here?
In that case the question is whether you want baloo to index just a subset of
file extensions or whether you are happy for it to index everything and be able
to limit your search results to "just those few".
You know you can search for specific types of files, for example just
Documents? There's a drop down list available, see attachment
