Bug ID: 472256 Summary: Very difficult to align display edges in Display Configuration Classification: Applications Product: systemsettings Version: 5.27.4 Platform: Other OS: Linux Status: REPORTED Severity: normal Priority: NOR Component: kcm_kscreen Assignee: kscreen-bugs-n...@kde.org Reporter: sstein...@gmail.com CC: plasma-b...@kde.org Target Milestone: --- Created attachment 160285 --> https://bugs.kde.org/attachment.cgi?id=160285&action=edit Software/OS Versions from "About this System" STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Attempt to drag second monitor around to align so that mouse moves smoothly between monitors. 2. 3. OBSERVED RESULT Second monitor "snaps" to useless locations (overlapping, kitty-corner, etc.). It is extremely difficult to get the common edges to line up at all, much less smoothly position the 2nd monitor's left edge along the right edge of the first in various vertical positions to test mouse movement. EXPECTED RESULT In previous versions, there was no "snapping", the monitors just smoothly positioned to wherever they were dragged. SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS See attachment.
