Bug ID: 473403 Summary: NVENC Encoding Issue with GeForce RTX 3060 Ti Lite Hash Rate on Ubuntu 22.04 Classification: Applications Product: kdenlive Version: 23.04.3 Platform: Other OS: Linux Status: REPORTED Severity: crash Priority: NOR Component: Video Display & Export Assignee: j...@kdenlive.org Reporter: patel.ganes...@gmail.com Target Milestone: --- Description: I am experiencing a problem with NVENC encoding while using Kdenlive on my Ubuntu 22.04 system with a GeForce RTX 3060 Ti Lite Hash Rate GPU. Steps to Reproduce: Open Kdenlive (version: specify the version you're using). Import a video file (provide details of the file format and other properties). Attempt to render the video using the h264_nvenc encoder. Expected Result: The video should be encoded using the GPU, leveraging the h264_nvenc encoder without errors. Actual Result: The following error messages were displayed: csharp [h264_nvenc @ 0x7fc66c002000] Interlaced encoding is not supported. Supported level: 0 [h264_nvenc @ 0x7fc66c002000] No capable devices found Additional Information: GPU: NVIDIA Corporation GA104 [GeForce RTX 3060 Ti Lite Hash Rate] NVIDIA Driver Version: 525.125.06 CUDA Version: 12.0 OS: Ubuntu 22.04 FFmpeg version bundled with Kdenlive: 6.0, built with gcc 11 (GCC) The system's version of FFmpeg works as expected with the same encoding settings. Kdenlive's bundled FFmpeg version is the one that presents the issue. I have already tried various troubleshooting steps, including updating the system, checking driver installation, and verifying the FFmpeg version's compatibility with my system. Attachments: (Please attach any relevant logs, screenshots, or other files that might help diagnose the issue.) Request: I would appreciate assistance in resolving this issue, as it is hindering my ability to use GPU encoding within Kdenlive. Thank you. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
