It is possible to exchange tags and star-rating between Darktable and Digikam,
so that tags set in one program are recognized by the other.
If you set it up right, it works in both directions.
Preferred solution:
Ideally there would be a "set data exchange for Darktable" setting which would
configure all the metadata to work with Darktable.
