STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. have updates pending in discover
2. update all from the GUI
3. close window using the button in the upper left corner of the GUI
OBSERVED RESULT
a crash notification is shown on the desktop "application crashed unexpectedly"
or similar
a dialog box appears to send crash report but fails due to backtrace not found
EXPECTED RESULT
the application closes

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
to troubleshoot, the gdb utility was used to run discover and reproduce the
crash... the log results as well as the output of the backtrace command within
gdb are shown in the attached text file.
