Alpine Linux ships a newer version that _does_ work. Problem solved. (and Musl really shouldn't be an issue for 99% of the users, there is Flatpak for things like Steam anyway. Offtopic though) I'm not sure why people are still going on about this issue, the cause is known (it's literally in the title) and the solution is also known.
