Bug ID: 476391 Summary: BTRFS mirrored disks show as two devices in the Devices panel Classification: Applications Product: dolphin Version: 23.08.2 Platform: Archlinux OS: Linux Status: REPORTED Severity: normal Priority: NOR Component: panels: information Assignee: dolphin-bugs-n...@kde.org Reporter: graham.ocon...@gmail.com CC: kfm-de...@kde.org Target Milestone: --- SUMMARY When mounting a BTRFS mirrored filesystem, both devices in the mirror show under the Devices section on the left panel but one of them shows as inaccessible. While there are technically two devices, it seems pointless to show both when one of them is always inaccessible. It would seem better to just show the virtual device containing the BTRFS filesystem as a single device. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Create a mirrored BTRFS filesystem on two devices 2. Mount the filesystem 3. OBSERVED RESULT Both devices in the mirror appear but one is always inaccessible (not always the same one) EXPECTED RESULT The single virtual device containing the filesystem should appear SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Linux/KDE Plasma: KDE Plasma Version: 5.27.9 KDE Frameworks Version: 5.111.0 Qt Version: 5.15.11 ADDITIONAL INFORMATION -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
