It's really a pain to do the simplest thing like picking a file to open with Kate, when you are in a directory with many files. It glitches immediately and you don't know whether the name displayed is the one of the item you have actually selected. This is a 15' bug IMO, it's a basic DE functionality and it's broken :( I'm attaching a screenshot of what it looks like.
