Bug ID: 370514 Summary: Plasma-pa will not use a combined sink as the default device Product: plasma-pa Version: 5.7.95 Platform: Archlinux Packages OS: Linux Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: major Priority: NOR Component: applet Assignee: now...@gmail.com Reporter: young.acino...@gmail.com CC: plasma-b...@kde.org Since version 5.7.95 (I'm using 5.8.1 at the moment) , plasma-pa seems to ignore when I choose a combined pulseaudio sink (simultaneous output to internal audio, headphones and HDMI, in my case) as the default device. Despite of the device appearing selected on the settings, the selection doesn't affect the icon at the notification area of the panel. As a result, changing the volume with the mouse wheel or a keyboard shortcut will change the volume of only one device (the first to be listed at the combined sink). Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Define a combined sink in pulseaudio (with two or more devices); 2. Select the combined sink as the default output device inside the plasma-pa settings; 3. Try changing the volume using a keyboard shortcut or by scrolling over the icon with the mouse. Actual Results: Apparently, the first device listed in the combined sink is used instead of the whole simultaneous output. Expected Results: The simultaneous output should be used when it is selected as the default device. It worked fine until version 5.7.5, and the only solution I have found so far is to downgrade to that version. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
