Cantor snap can't add backends (maxima, scilab, etc.)

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. install cantor via snap
2. open cantor
3. Settings > Configure Cantor

OBSERVED RESULT

it is not possible to add a backend (maxima, scilab, etc) to cantor when
installing cantor from snap

EXPECTED RESULT

it should be possible to add a backend to cantor (maxima and scilab are locally
installed)

SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS

Linux:  GNU/Linux PC1 6.2.0-36-generic #37~22.04.1-Ubuntu SMP PREEMPT_DYNAMIC

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

All the permissions for the snap were activated in the Ubuntu Software app
