So there is a tune of variable to set to fix the problem. Look for the AppImage start up script : https://invent.kde.org/graphics/digikam/-/blob/master/project/bundles/appimage/data/AppRun?ref_type=heads#L91 These kind of variable must be activated in the source code when digiKam is compiled with MSVC.
