What's going on here is not that the app is actually taking longer to launch,
but rather that that app isn't communicating that it did launch, so the
feedback effect only stops after the default 5 second timeout rather than
instantly. This is an app-specific problem; please submit a separate bug report
for each affected app. Thanks a lot!
