Bug ID: 478533 Summary: Improved global shortcuts on Plasma 6 Classification: Plasma Product: plasmashell Version: 5.90.0 Platform: Arch Linux OS: Linux Status: REPORTED Severity: wishlist Priority: NOR Component: general Assignee: plasma-b...@kde.org Reporter: tro...@troplo.com CC: k...@davidedmundson.co.uk Target Milestone: 1.0 Created attachment 164176 --> https://bugs.kde.org/attachment.cgi?id=164176&action=edit Command list which is unorganized. I'd like to see an improved global shortcuts feature in the future. Currently it only permits a shell script to be executed with no ability to add a custom name, or organize in folders like the previous "Custom Shortcuts" feature found on Plasma 5 in the X11 session, which makes it harder to tell what script is being executed if the file paths start with the same thing. Custom Shortcuts also allowed the ability to type out letters, and run DBus commands which isn't present in the new system, but I understand that can just be performed with scripts anyway so it's not a big deal, just a few extra steps which is fine. I'm not sure if this has been discussed in the past, I couldn't find anything online about it so I apologize if it's a duplicate.
