I've been having the same problem on Sway. Using
`dbus-update-activation-environment --systemd --all` broke other things,
though. What seems to have solved the problem for me is this:
dbus-update-activation-environment --systemd WAYLAND_DISPLAY
XDG_CURRENT_DESKTOP=sway XDG_SESSION_TYPE
Namely, I have had that line without XDG_SESSION_TYPE from earlier and Dolphin
authentication wasn't working. After adding XDG_SESSION_TYPE, it now works
flawlessly.
