I seriously don't think we will get speed until we get working GPU support.
Even with working GPU support face recognition across many images can be slow,
but my experience is it's probably still at least 10-100 times faster. At
least if we had that, we wouldn't have to wait four days to find out it didn't
work. This should be our number one priority in my opinion. I can help test
with Mac, Windows, Linux and an Nvidia GPU.
