We could not reproduce this on non Nvidia.

This is a sign of something wrong lower in the stack.
Could you get output from `journalctl -b -1 -r` (the log from the last boot,
latest first) and share any relevant looking output.
Can you keep trying with newer nvidia drivers. I don't think there is anything
actionable our side just yet, even if the full behaviour is subtly different.
