            Bug ID: 480245
Summary: Toggle maximize of split view
    Classification: Applications
           Product: yakuake
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: Other
                OS: Linux
            Status: REPORTED
          Severity: wishlist
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general
          Assignee: [email protected]
          Reporter: [email protected]
  Target Milestone: ---

SUMMARY
Yakuake can't maximize the current split view.

Yakuake has split views, which are the same as Konsole split views.
(Taken from "Konsolepart"? I have no experience with KDE development)

For Konsole it is possible to maximize the current view:
>View → Split View → Toggle maximize current view (Ctrl+Shift+E)
>Toggles the current view between current size and the maximize size
[The Konsole
Handbook](https://docs.kde.org/stable5/en/konsole/konsole/konsole.pdf)

This is not possible with Yakuake.
The list of key bindings lists "Split View Left-Right" and "Split View
Top-Bottom", but nothing to maximize the view.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
Validate desired behavior with Terminal:
1. Open Konsole
2. Split view - Right mouse button → "Split View" → "Split View Left-Right" or
Default key binding: Ctrl+(
3. Maximize View - Button "Maximize terminal" or Default key binding: Ctrl+E

Validate behavior not working with Yakuake
1. Open Yakuake
2. Split View - Default key binding: Ctrl+(
3. Try to maximize current view: not possible.

SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
konsole 23.08.4
yakuake 23.08.4
plasmashell 5.27.10

Similar tickets, but (in my opinion) not duplicates:
[193033] - First part of the ticket would be duplicate, but second part of the
ticket wishes for more than this.
[320548] - Probably, to be fair, is a duplicate, but ticket has poor
description.
