            Bug ID: 480460
Summary: Waking up computer after a prolonged amount of time
results in the password entered to be always refused
    Classification: Plasma
           Product: kscreenlocker
           Version: git-stable-Plasma/5.27
          Platform: Fedora RPMs
                OS: Linux
            Status: REPORTED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general
          Assignee: plasma-b...@kde.org
          Reporter: farch...@gmail.com
  Target Milestone: ---

I have two computers with Plasma 6 (On Fedora 40 Rawhide), and only the laptop
exhibit this issue.

If I open my laptop after a decent amount of time inactive, whatever password I
enter in kscreenlocker will always be refused with "Password incorrect". (I did
double-check the password a couple times now by clicking the eye icon).

Trying a second time logs me right in.

I can also see this in my system logs, I think it may be relevant:

Jan 28 16:14:58 fedora kscreenlocker_greet[16688]: The cached device pixel
ratio value was stale on window expose. Please file a QTBUG which explains how
to reproduce.
Jan 28 16:14:58 fedora kscreenlocker_greet[16688]: qt.qpa.wayland: Could not
create EGL surface (EGL error 0x3000)
Jan 28 16:14:59 fedora kscreenlocker_greet[16688]: Failed to write to the pipe:
Bad file descriptor.
