Application launcher sometimes gets stuck
SUMMARY
The Application Launcher sometimes freezes when opening. Sometimes it's only
noticeable because the accent colour at the bottom of the launcher doesn't
show, and sometimes the window gets frozen in a faded out white state.
Moving the mouse over the window appears to fix it.
STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Open the application launcher several times (the bug doesn't happen every
time)
OBSERVED RESULT
Periodically the colour accent at the bottom of the launcher doesn't appear or
appears slowly, periodically the window appears white and frozen.
EXPECTED RESULT
The launcher doesn't freeze, and the colour accent appears instantly.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
In the attached video, I am moving my mouse while the launcher is frozen, but
the recording seems to be frozen when the launcher is.
