Indeed, I can reproduce the issue. My confusion came from the fact that this is
*supposed to be* fixed, and it looks like that fix regressed. The settings
window has a "Keep Launchers Separate" checkbox that appears to do nothing, and
is also checked by default when the new intention in Plasma 6 is to have it
unchecked by default.
I'll mark this as a duplicate of the bug report tracking that issue, and then
re-open it (as soon as I find it...).
