No. I've installed the nvidia drivers using ubuntu-drivers, it's still using up
about the same amount of CPU.

The only difference is that now even on idle kwin_wayland uses 20% CPU, and
nv_queue uses 15% CPU.
When moving the mouse kwin_wayland now uses almost 50% CPU, the window under
the cursor still uses around 20%, and nv_queue uses about 10% CPU.
