            Bug ID: 371406
Summary: Modifier to constrain mouse pointer to the current
                    desktop
           Product: kwin
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: Other
                OS: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: wishlist
          Priority: NOR
         Component: multihead
          Assignee: kwin-bugs-n...@kde.org
          Reporter: pfeif...@kde.org

This is probably a more esoteric feature request, so feel free to ignore it :-)

The window decorations help with Fitts's law by allowing to activate the
right-most (close) button of a maximized window even when the mouse pointer is
at the very corner of the display.

Unfortunately this works only for the top/right-most monitor in a multi-monitor
setup because you cannot "throw" the mouse pointer into another monitor's
corner.

Unless there would be a modifier to constrain the mouse pointer to the current
monitor as long as that key is pressed.

E.g. while you hold the Meta or Control key, you could not move the mouse
pointer across monitors.

Reproducible: Always
