Maik Qualmann <metzping...@gmail.com> changed: What |Removed |Added ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Version Fixed In| |8.3.0 Resolution|--- |FIXED Status|REPORTED |RESOLVED CC| |metzping...@gmail.com --- Comment #1 from Maik Qualmann <metzping...@gmail.com> --- This is not a bug. Check out the advanced metadata settings: https://docs.digikam.org/en/setup_application/metadata_settings.html#advanced-settings Here you can specify the order in which digiKam finds the metadata in images; the list is processed from top to bottom. At the first entry where valid values are found, the process is aborted and this one is used. You can set the order yourself, you can also see that xmp.lr.hierarchicalSubject is before xmp.dc.subject in the list, therefore tags in xmp.dc.subject are ignored. So if you have metadata in images that are out of sync, you can enable the "Read all metadata for tags" option. Now digiKam will read and mix all metadata fields for tags. Then you have your desired result. Maik -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
