Bug ID: 481822 Summary: Choppy animation of opened applets attaching to the panel when maximizing a window Classification: Plasma Product: plasmashell Version: 5.93.0 Platform: Other OS: Linux Status: REPORTED Severity: normal Priority: NOR Component: Panel Assignee: plasma-b...@kde.org Reporter: pos...@posteo.eu CC: niccolo.venera...@gmail.com Target Milestone: 1.0 Created attachment 166097 --> https://bugs.kde.org/attachment.cgi?id=166097&action=edit Screenrecording SUMMARY When having a panel pinned open but no other windows, then the applet has a (intentional) gap to the panel. When maximizing a window now, the panel moves to the bottom and extends rather smoothly, however the applet tends to do a straight to the left, straight down movement, which looks very choppy. Sometimes even a little gap remains. Please see the screen recording.
