            Bug ID: 482780
Summary: Incorrect color gamut with HDR enabled
    Classification: Plasma
           Product: kwin
           Version: 6.0.1
          Platform: Arch Linux
                OS: Linux
            Status: REPORTED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: NOR
         Component: wayland-generic
          Assignee: kwin-bugs-n...@kde.org
          Reporter: mith3...@gmail.com
  Target Milestone: ---

SUMMARY
With HDR enabled in display settings, colors appear very washed out, as if my
monitor is handling all colors like they're bt.709 instead of bt.2020.
Increasing the SDR Color Intensity slider to 100% makes SDR colors look
correct, and viewing HDR content with MPV I can set --target-prim=bt.709 as a
workaround. The only similar issue report I've seen is this resolved one:
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=479168 However I'm having this issue on an
Nvidia gpu over both DP and HDMI.

Please let me know if I need to report this issue elsewhere.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Enable HDR mode
2. Observe washed out colors

OBSERVED RESULT
All colors severely desaturated with SDR colors only appearing correct with the
intensity slider at 100%

EXPECTED RESULT
SDR colors appear correct with slider at 0% intensity, HDR colors appear
correct with no changes to target gamut

SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
KDE Plasma Version: 6.0.1
KDE Frameworks Version: 6.0.0
Qt Version: 6.6.2

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
GPU: Geforce RTX 4060
Display: Coolermaster GP27Q
Kernel: 6.7.8-lqx1-1-lqx (I experienced the same issue on the default Arch
kernel as well)
