Either way, Firefox has never remembered it's activity reliably (it seemed like it sometimes did), but it did remember the desktop for me. But after upgrading to Plasma 6, there is a regression, as neither will be remembered. All firefox windows will be opened on the current activity and desktop (despite having arranged windows elsewhere).
