                    nightlight
    Classification: Applications
           Product: systemsettings
           Version: 6.0.2
          Platform: Arch Linux
                OS: Linux
            Status: REPORTED
          Severity: wishlist
          Priority: NOR
         Component: kcm_nightcolor
          Assignee: plasma-b...@kde.org

                CC: kwin-bugs-n...@kde.org
  Target Milestone: ---

Skytopia SunsetScreen is a program I used on windows that is my gold standard
for this type of function.

A few very nice features are global hotkeys to enable/disable the night color,
or to be able to invert the day/night colors.

In my workflow looks like:
 - While the sun is outside my window have night color disabled.
 - While the sun is indirect turn night light on (daytime color)
 - If I need to do color sensitive work, press the global hotkey to disable
night light
 - If I want to stay up later than usual, or play a game late, invert day/night
color until I chose to finish winding down and put it back to normal. (eg my
settings are day is 3300K, night is 1300K, hotkey to make day is 1300K night is
3300K)
