If it can be helpful this is what I executed using Kubuntu 16.04:
echo 'Defaults env_keep += "KDE_SESSION_VERSION KDE_FULL_SESSION"' | sudo
tee -a /etc/sudoers.d/workaround_plasma5 > /dev/null
