--- Comment #7 from atmarx <am...@xram.net> --- I _guess_ it's possible that virtualbox, teamviewer, and remmina all somehow 'broke' at the same time, but considering the exact same versions work fine under KDE 5.7.5 (and under Unity, Xfce, etc), I'm more inclined to believe something changed in KDE between 5.7.5 and present.
