Unfortunately this isn't possible as it would require the widget to become
non-square which isn't possible in the System Tray for technical reasons. In
addition, another option to work around the issue with a pre-existing option
isn't the solution; we just need to fix Bug 438316. Whatever that fix looks
like it won't be in the form of another user-facing option experts can opt into
to fix the issue for only themselves. :)
