SUMMARY
I have upgraded one of my computers to Fedora 40. X11 is no longer an option.
Plasmashell is so unstable the computer is not usable. I realize this has been
reported before. I cannot upgrade my remaining machines because I would be
without a working computer.
STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Too numerous to mention although simply clicking on the desktop will kill
plasmashell

Plasmashell tries to recover several times then gives up
