Go to system settings -> mouse and enable natural (inverted) scrolling 2. Scroll over brightness or sound 3. When your fingers are going up (which should be to lower a value), the action is opposite (value getting higher) OBSERVED RESULT Brightness increasing or sound increasing when fingers are moving UP the trackpad.
