Bug ID: 487231 Summary: Hint button is too close to the demo button Classification: Applications Product: kpat Version: 24.02.2 Platform: Arch Linux OS: Linux Status: REPORTED Severity: normal Priority: NOR Component: general Assignee: co...@kde.org Reporter: cmdrkoto...@gmail.com CC: kde-games-b...@kde.org Target Milestone: --- SUMMARY When playing a game while focusing on the cards (instead of the mouse), moving the mouse near the end of the toolbar with your peripheral vision can sometimes land the mouse cursor on the demo button instead of the hint button. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Start spider solitaire game 2. Click hint without being overtly careful about where the cursor is OBSERVED RESULT Mouse cursor sometimes misses hint and presses demo EXPECTED RESULT Mouse hits hint every time SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Operating System: Arch Linux KDE Plasma Version: 6.0.4 KDE Frameworks Version: 6.2.0 Qt Version: 6.7.0 Kernel Version: 6.8.9-arch1-2 (64-bit) Graphics Platform: Wayland Processors: 16 × AMD Ryzen 7 2700X Eight-Core Processor Memory: 31.3 GiB of RAM Graphics Processor: AMD Radeon RX 6500 XT ADDITIONAL INFORMATION Failing a gui overhaul, perhaps a popup could be added asking if the demo mode is desired. You may ask, "Why even bother with this?" Well accidentally entering demo mode even for short while and undoing the computer-made moves will change the ending text from "congratulations you have won" to "congratulations we have won". Naturally, when one did not wish to enter demo mode, this diminishes the sense of accomplishment of completing a game. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
