Weird transparency during animation
SUMMARY
For a few weeks the blur effect is broken for me, it just renders completely
black, disregarding the window mask and flickering during sliding popups
effect, where you can see some diagonal tiling of black during the animation.
STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Have blur contrast effect enabled
2. Open KRunner or Kickoff
OBSERVED RESULT
There’s black flickering during the animation and when it finished you can see
that the corners around KRunner are black. Also affects other plasma popups
EXPECTED RESULT
No flickering, beautiful rendering ;)
SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
Linux/KDE Plasma: git master as of 2024-05-25 on Intel UHD 620 GPU
Qt version: 6.7.0
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
When I took a screenshot during the animation I could see that the resulting
output was completely transparent, maybe there’s some blending issue there that
it ends up “punching through” to the root plane which is black and then you see
it through.
Whatever the case, it’s completely borked right now.
