I'm on Arch where I have a custom PKGBUILD for kwin and plasma-workspace (because I apply other unrelated patches - one of them patches out the grid gaps, which breaks the overview layout, so I don't use it). The only issue I've observed ever since the fix was implemented was about Konsole, which doesn't draw unless it's re-focused, meaning that when compiling large projects for example, peeking onto the desktop where Konsole's window has been moved to doesn't show the current status.
